With over 30 years’ experience in creating natural looking Dentures that fit and feel comfortable, Gary’s friendly and welcoming nature goes a long way to making his patients feel confident and at ease during their treatment Gary was one of the 1st clinical dental technicians qualified in the UK. He holds a diploma in clinical dental technology from the George Brown College, Toronto, Canada and The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Sam is a very hard working pro active Business Manager. Overseeing a wide range of roles within the company, her main responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice. She is a strong leader who guides, encourages and supports the team to get the best possible level of care for all of our patients. Sam is always looking for ways to build and improve our services, and is quite happy to turn her hand.

After graduating in 2017, I worked in the military hospital of the Air force in Athens, Greece, for two years. I then relocated to the UK to complete an MSc degree in fixed and removable prosthodontics at the University of Manchester. I offer a range of services but am particularly interested in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including smile makeovers, dentures, veneers, crowns and treating complex cases.

I was thrilled to be asked to join Smiles & More, where I can learn from one of the best clinical technicians. Gary’s experience is second to none, and I look forward to working alongside him at the new dental practice.

Mara is a lovely bubbly person who puts you at ease when you meet her. She is always smiling, and nothing is too much trouble. She is a real team player.

Laura qualified as a dental hygienist in 2001 and then went on to study dentistry she graduated from Liverpool in 2010. She spent a year working in community dentistry before spending the rest of her career in general practice.

Due to her background in dental hygiene she is keen on preventing dental diseases and helps patients with this.

Laura has also helped many nervous patients overcome their dental fears over the years by building their confidence and spending time to make them feel at ease during their visits.

Recently Laura has developed an interest in facial aesthetics she has completed the anti wrinkle training and plans to further her career by doing more training in this area.

Alison joined our team in May 2021. Her qualifications include NVQ level 2 in Business admin & Customer service, NVQ level 3 in Dental Nursing and Oral health care (2003) and a NVQ level 3 Certificate in Management (2013)

Alison finds the ability to help others to be the most rewarding part of her role. She keeps the practice compliant and the staff and patients happy whilst ensuring the smooth day to day running of the practice. Alison is friendly and approachable and loves a good chat! When she is not busy caring for our patients and staff Alison’s time is spent keeping up with her two small children and dog, Lenny! She also loves to bake.

Alison’s favourite tipple is coffee in all forms including an Expresso Martini at the weekend! Her greatest weakness is buying shoes and her favourite way to spend a Sunday would be outdoors with her family.

Karrie joined our team in spring 2022.

Karrie really enjoys her dental nurse role and thrives in patient care. Karrie is bubbly and lively and loves meeting new people.

When Karrie’s not in work shes is planning her next holiday or trip to the zoo!

For a number of years, I worked within a childcare setting. However, when the opportunity arose to train to become a dental nurse apprentice for such a great business, it was such a great opportunity to take. I have always had a keen interest within the dental industry, and I believe that it will be a very rewarding and exciting career path to take.

I am very family orientated and enjoy to spend all of my time when outside of work with them, creating lots of memories with my two children.

I am a very approachable and happy person, which will hopefully put all of our patients at ease when coming into the practice.
